Arrangements must be made six months in advance.

My good friends,
As you can see from the lunch room picture, we are
having a ball here during our Catholic Summer Camp.
Our kids play ball, enjoy stories, entertain each other
(no cell phones to isolate themselves into their own
little worlds) and of course spend time with Sister Alice
and her faithful volunteers learning about our most
faithful friend in the world – JESUS!!
Father Jose and I are lucky enough
to tag along. We start each morning
with mass and prayers. And you
know what’s really nice about dealing
with kids that are strictly from
church? Not once have I heard a bad
word – not even once.
As we prepare ourselves for a new
school year, have you considered
putting your daughter or son in our
Catholic School for a few years.
Imagine the difference it makes in the
life a young person being educated in
that kind of environment.
Then
imagine that same child 25 years
later; successful, intelligent, and
Christian.
But enough of ‘school’ and real life. Let’s each of
us enjoy the summer!

En la foto se ve a uno de nuestros jóvenes durante
nuestro almuerzo. Este campamento es quizás uno de
los más grandes que recordamos. El Padre José y yo
compartimos con los jóvenes en los juegos, chistes,
conversaciones, y claro las misas y oraciones. Y que
interesante que, sin computadores y celulares, los
jóvenes hablan y
cuentan chistes e
historias cómicas
todo el día.

gracias a Dios
por
nuestra
Hermana Alicia.

Mira la diferencia cuando trabajamos con los jóvenes
de la iglesia. Pues, quiero que todos piensen en un
ambiente así para tus hijos/hijas en sus estudios
escolares. Cuando tu nieto o ahijada estudia con
nosotros en nuestra escuela católica, aprendan en una
clase con ese espíritu de respeto, alegría, y santidad.

de estos días magníficos de este verano.

reasonable – for a good Catholic.

ave marías. Después de reflexionar sobre
las enseñanzas de nuestra Virgen de
Fátima, vamos a usar los primeros sábados
de cada mes para unirnos en esta devoción
mariana. Por eso, el sábado 6 de agosto, rezamos en el
sótano de la iglesia – en la capilla abajo. Si quisieras
ayudar en rezar un parte del rosario, favor de dejar un
mensaje para nuestro diacono en formación, Carlos
Pichardo, en la rectoría.
