These results are a clear indication of our Group’s stellar performance as we are committed to enhancing shareholder value. We have seen an increase in performance in most of our Divisions as a result of strong organic growth. Leading the way for the year is our Plantation Division due to robust crude palm oil prices. The Manufacturing and Trading Division has also performed very well and we are glad that the Pharmaceutical Division, being a new entity in your Group, has started to bear fruit. The Property, Finance and Investment as well as Heavy Industries Divisions also have played a role in contributing to your Group’s bottomline. During this period, we have taken an important step to articulating our Core Values and Core Competencies for the benefit of all Bousteadians. I am glad to share with you that our Core Values are Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence (RITE) while our Core Competencies are Results Driven, Shared Responsibility, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus and Interpersonal Skills (RSCCI). As our Group grows in size and our numbers increase, it is crucial that all Bousteadians are aligned with the aspirations of the Group in order to achieve meaningful results for our shareholders and for our own personal growth. On this basis, I hope these values will give us the extra impetus to work harder. Thank you. Terima kasih. The Peak was simply breathtaking. The tram ride to the top seemed frightening to some especially when the tram proceeded at a 45-degree angle but the view from the top was worth it. It was a fun place where we had the chance to relive our childhood. The best thing there were all the shows, which included a 3D animated show with all the best characters from Disney movies as well as colourful pageant of music and dance at the Festival of the Lion King. Finally, the night ended with a spectacular 'Disney in the Stars' fireworks show that transforms the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle into a stunning evening spectacle I TSUK A O SH K M NG TS I M O & W How could one resist not taking pictures with these two lovely Disney characters, Snow White and Tinker Bell? e struck out early on our third day in Hong Kong with a visit to Tsim Sha Tsui area of Kowloon and then to Mongkok, a must-visit destination for fashion lovers with an eye for clothing, bags, accessories, toys and such. It is a well-developed city filled with skyscrapers. We have never seen a place where high-rise buildings are so close and concentrated and a skyline that goes on for such a long distance like we did in Hong Kong. The pace of the city is fast - the people walk fast, eat fast, speak fast and live fast, even the escalators move fast. Moving around Hong Kong was easy and safe thanks to their awesome transportation system, which is modern, fast, efficient, systematic and clean. All in all, we had a lot of fun in Hong Kong. It is an interesting place with many exciting things to do and we certainly made the most of our 4D/3N here. 10 11 Group Finance Retreat in Bangkok (16 - 19 September 2011) Sawadee Kaap! At the Throne Hall, everyone was awed by the magnificent craftmanship of the palace and the gold plated exhibits such as the king’s throne and Royal Barge Suphannahongse. In addition to that, we were also fascinated with the exquisite and exclusive traditional Thai weaving exhibits. We left the Arts of Kingdom to check in to the hotel. After the game, we filled our hungry bellies with food from Yana Muslim Restaurant. Finally, we called it a day after a sumptuous Indian buffet dinner at First Hotel. The third day began with a long motorGala dinner 2011 powered boat ride along Chao Phraya river.
