Antes todo Felices Fiestas y Próspero 2010. En nombre de
todos los que formamos Fred.Olsen, S.A. Así deseamos
abrir esta edición número 17 de Océanos, que como siempre rinde homenaje a las Islas Canarias, sus artistas, cultura y tesoros naturales, principalmente.

is the way we wish to open issue 17 of Océanos, which always
pays tribute to the Canary Islands, principally its artists, culture
and natural treasures.
Por tanto, en esta ocasión hemos decidido ofrecerles un trabajo muy especial de Fabiola Socas. Una artista que copa
nuestra entrevista principal y que a buen seguro les resultará interesante y cautivadora.
Therefore, on this occasion we have decided to offer you a very
special piece of work about Fabiola Socas, an artist who stars
in our main interview. We are sure you will find her interesting
and captivating.
Cumpliendo con la tradición, presentamos nuestra recomendación gastronómica para las fiestas navideñas en un
reportaje muy útil y sugerente.
Keeping with tradition we also present our culinary
recommendation for the Christmas festive period in a useful
and evocative report.
Y fieles a nuestra cita con el senderismo, ahora le toca a
Tenerife, con “El Malpaís de la Rasca”. Reserva Natural
Especial desde el año 1987, y de gran sensibilidad ecológica. Un lugar que posee conos volcánicos y malpaíses en su
paisaje, y en mi opinión ideal para los amantes del senderismo “fácil” y en familia.
And we are also determined not to miss our date with hiking
and this time around we are in Tenerife at “El Malpaís de la
Rasca”. It has been a special nature reserve since 1987 and
is an area of great ecological sensitivity. It is a place which
possesses volcanic cones and scrubland in its landscape and in
my opinion is ideal for lovers of easy walks with the family.
Quería acabar felicitando al Hotel Jardín Tecina por la obtención, una vez más, del TUI Holly, un premio que entrega
cada año el Turoperador alemán “TUI”. Los establecimientos hoteleros que cuentan para el galardón son elegidos por
los clientes de dicho turoperador en todo el mundo, los cuales después de sus vacaciones, informan en un cuestionario
especial que devuelven al citado turoperador. Por tanto,
una alegría para el grupo Fred.Olsen, S.A.
I wanted to end by congratulating the Hotel Jardín Tecina
for obtaining once again the TUI Holly, an award which is
given every year by the German tour operator TUI. The hotel
establishments which can go in for this award are chosen
by the customers of the said tour operator from all over the
world and who after their holidays put down their opinions
on a special questionnaire which is then handed back to the
aforementioned tour operator. Therefore the Fred.Olsen, S.A.
group has reason to feel proud.
En cuanto a Fred.Olsen Express, decirles que arrancamos
2010 con el objetivo de seguir siendo la compañía líder en el
transporte de personas, coches y mercancías en Canarias. Y
para ello, trataremos de mejorar aún más el servicio desde
la innovación y el respeto hacia todos nuestros pasajeros,
los cuales son los verdaderos artífices del éxito de esta naviera en el Archipiélago.
